Oak wood handle
Oak wood until the 19th century was the main species used in Europe in shipbuilding and in the construction of wooden frames. It is today a species prized for its beauty, its hardness and its durability, in carpentry and for the manufacture of parquet floors. Oak is also essential for making barrels in which the best wines and spirits are aged, contributing to their flavor.
